Email [email protected]. There is no contact form here, because a form would mean collecting and storing what you write on a server — and not doing that is rather the point of this site.

Reporting a wrong answer

These are the most useful messages we get, and the ones easiest to act on if you include the right detail:

• Which tool, by name or URL.
• Exactly what you typed. The input matters more than anything else — most reported bugs turn out to hinge on one character.
• What you got, and what you expected instead.
• Your browser and device, if the problem looks like a display issue.

Before writing about a missing word, it is worth checking the sources page: the dictionary here contains no proper nouns, abbreviations or brand names, and those account for most "missing word" reports.

Missing or wrong word data

If an ordinary English word is genuinely absent, or something is listed that should not be, say which word and where you looked. Word data is rebuilt periodically and corrections go in at that point.

Accessibility problems

Reported accessibility issues are treated as bugs, not requests. Tell us what you were trying to do, what assistive technology you were using, and where it broke down. See accessibility for what is already known.

Business and press

Advertising, partnerships and press enquiries go to the same address. Please put the subject in the first line.

What we cannot help with

• Today's answer to somebody else's puzzle. The daily games people ask about are made by their own publishers, and this site does not hold their solutions.
• Whether a word is legal in a specific game. Every game licenses its own dictionary; check that game's word list.
• Recovering something you typed. Nothing is stored. If the tab is closed, it is gone — which is also why nobody else can retrieve it.
