Wordscapes Solver
Type the letters on the wheel. You get every word they can spell — the ones the crossword needs and the bonus words behind them.
How to use it
- 1 Read the wheel
Type all the letters shown at the bottom of the level, in any order.
- 2 Match lengths to the grid
Count the squares in each blank answer and jump to that length group.
- 3 Mop up the bonus words
Anything the grid does not ask for is a bonus word. They pay coins, so they are worth entering.
Matching results to the grid
A Wordscapes level shows a small crossword and a wheel of letters. The grid tells you exactly how many letters each answer has, which makes this tool much easier to use than it looks: count the empty squares, then read only that length group. A five-square answer is in the five-letter group and nowhere else.
Crossing letters narrow it further. If the third square is already
filled with an a, put __a in the Contains box and
the group shrinks to a handful.
Bonus words are the point of the extras
This tool will return far more words than the level's grid has room for, and that is deliberate. Wordscapes accepts most valid words made from the wheel even when they are not in the puzzle, banking them as bonus words and paying coins for them. Working through the shorter groups after you have finished the grid is the fastest way to build up a coin balance for hints.
Why some words are rejected
The game uses its own curated list, which is smaller than the public-domain lexicon searched here. Obscure, archaic and technical words that are perfectly real will bounce. That is a limit of matching against a different dictionary, not a bug — if a word is refused, move to the next one rather than retyping it.
